About Me

I’m Katie and I am a recent graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts. I have a B.A. in Women’s Studies, with minors in Political Science and Development Studies. I am currently attending the Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health on a part time basis, with a plan to finish in December 2015.
I spent semesters studying at University College Cork in Ireland, and American University as part of the Washington Semester– I participated in the Transforming Communities program. Ireland stole my heart, and has yet to give it back. I also got to spend a month in the summer of 2011 in Tanzania, through a class at Wheaton the focused on education & development.
I am from Maine.
I am a klutz, organized, unorganized, loving, practical, driven and considerate. I laugh a lot, usually at myself, I trip and run into things frequently. I try not to take life too seriously.
My friends and family are super important to me! I would be no where in life without them.
Dogs are my favorite.
