Munich.

The train to Munich was easy. Keelin has a German friend, Miriam, living in Munich so we were lucky to have a place to stay and to have a local to show us around and give us advise on the best places to go! Also, our first morning she made us a traditional Bavarian breakfast—white sausage and pretzel!

We were only in Munich for a short time. We went to Marienplatz, tourist central. We went up Peterskirche, a large church tower, that has a 360 degree view of the city.
Neues Rathaus, the New Town Hall
We spent a full afternoon in the Deutches Museum, the national science museum. I went to an electricity show—all in German—and there were some interesting exhibits on space travel and HIV. We met back up with Miriam to walk through the English Garden, the Munich equivalent of Central Park.

Our final morning we spent at the Olympic Stadium and walking around the outside of the BWM museum—the museum itself was closed. Boo.
