Oh, the places you’ll go…

It’s now been almost three weeks since my medical packet arrived . While I haven’t made too much progress on my packet, I did graduate from college & start a new job.

graduated on May 19. It was a beautiful day– sunny & warm. The week prior was filled with lots of fun senior activities that kept me busy and tired. It already seems so long ago. After graduation I immediately started my job as a staffer for Cynthia Dill who is running for the U.S. Senate seat in Maine. While it has already been a hectic week, I’m loving every moment of it!
I have been doing some work trying to track down paperwork for all the supplemental forms they asked for, my knee, orthotics, etc.– with only some luck. It has taken a lot more hounding than I had originally anticipated. I haven’t even had my physical exam yet (it’s scheduled for next week) and I’ve called my doctor the past three business days. I’m beginning to feel a little panicked that it wont get done in time with my busy work schedule combined with the lack of communication with the doctor’s offices. Is this supposed to be my test to see if I’m cut out for the overwhelming commitment of being a Peace Corps volunteer (PCV)?
